Good news for Clean Mobile employees and investors. Bavarian electric service provider TQ-Systems GmbH acquired the assets of Clean Mobile AG. Clean Mobile AG was founded in 2006 as a start-up R&D company manufacturing “Innovative electric drivetrain for light vehicles” and is based in Unterhaching, near Munich.

Clean Mobile had to apply for insolvency beginning of February. The receiver, Dr. Christian Gerloff from the Munich based law firm Ott Gerloff explained that there was a good chance for the company to survive, since it was offering innovative technologies and several partieswere interested.  Dr. Christian Gerloff finally negotiated with three of them.

The asset deal with TQ-Group  led to a takeover of all financial Clean Mobile assets as well as a majority of its staff. Nothing was said about the terms of the takeover.

TQ-Group, who defines itself as, “a leading electric service provider for development and production of electric sub-assemblies and systems”, employs more than 900 people and reaches yearly sales of €125 million. The company is based in the Southern Germany state of Bavaria (Seefeld) and was already a supplier of Clean Mobile AG. Both TQ-Group GM’s Detlef Schneider and Rüdiger Stahl consider the take over as an axcellent opportunity to broaden the performance and productspectrum of TQ-Group.“The market potential is huge and we will work together on innovative Clean Mobile product ideas. Using the know-how of both company’s will guide us to success.”
