So if Front mounted child seats above 15kg weight limit fall outside the scope of the standard, does this mean they are effectively banned, not permitted, or at manufacturers own risk? Would a CE Type Approval be permissable as evidence of conformity with product safety? Also, do these need CE Marking and under which CE-Marking Directive? Would appreciate your input!
